Sessions and Fees
The daily hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
We provide part time and full time days with a minimum of six hours per day.
Drop off times are 8.00 am or 8.30 am, and pickup is 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 4.00 pm or 4.30 pm.
Children attend a minimum of two days per week.

Invoices are issued at the end of each term for the following term. Fees must be paid before the first day of the new term by automatic payment.
Fees are charged in full for the time your child is booked in, this includes sickness and public holidays. No fees are charged when the kindergarten closes at term breaks.
For new children, their first term’s fees must be paid prior to starting.
A one-off non-refundable enrolment fee of $40.00 is payable on enrolment. This is for a pre-entry consultation, administration, and stationery including journals for each child.
We follow the primary school term but close only for the first week at term breaks and five weeks at the Christmas break.
Two weeks notice is required for children being withdrawn from kindergarten. Fees paid in advance and two weeks bond will be refunded when two weeks notice is given.
Two weeks notice is required when altering (reducing) days your child attends.
In July 2007 the government introduced the 20 Hours Early Childhood education (ECE) policy.
Our fee structure is in two parts:
- Fees not funded by 20 Hours ECE ie; 2 year olds, or if you opt out of the 20 Hours ECE.
- Fees funded by 20 Hours ECE with an optional charge for 3 & 4 year olds.
20 hours ECE – optional charge
Our charges for the 20 Hours ECE are for the following extra services we provide at Sunbeams Kindergarten:
- Additional staff beyond minimum regulated adult/child ratios.
- Morning tea including home baking made daily.
- Specialist visiting teachers.
- Parent education workshops
